AIRBUS CORPORATE JET FAMILY AIRCRAFT HIGHLIGHTED AT HAINAN
Airbus is to display a corporate jet at the Hainan[1] rendezvous for the first time, giving visitors the chance to experience the impressive comfort and space that it offers. This is also the first time that Airbus displays a corporate jet in mainland China.
Private customers account for most Airbus Corporate Jet sales, and the aircraft already have a strong presence in China – one of the world’s fastest growing economies.
“The sheer comfort and space of the modern Airbus corporate jet family has to be experienced to be fully appreciated and, once seen, is hard to forget,” says Airbus Chief Operating Officer, Customers, John Leahy. “Our aircraft can also seat more people than traditional business jets, allowing the carriage of larger groups, such as families, executives or government officials.”
With almost twice as wide a cabin as traditional jets, the A318 Elite, Airbus Corporate Jetliner and A320 Prestige offer easily the best interior in their class, allowing an extension into the air of the comfort and space that customers already enjoy at home or the office. Yet they are similar in size to traditional business jets on the outside.
Research shows that corporate jets help large companies to be more successful and to be better at growing their business, by delivering a host of benefits. These include the ability to buy more time – one Airbus Corporate Jet customer says that its ACJ gives it an 8-day week – to set one’s own travel schedule, to use travel time more productively, and to ensure greater privacy and security.
Airbus corporate jets are derived from the world’s most modern airliner family, so they all benefit from the latest in fuel-saving aerodynamics, weight-saving new materials such as carbonfibre, and time and reliability enhancing centralised maintenance. Their intrinsically modern designs also ensure that they make good investments, holding their value well over time.
Airbus is unique in being able to offer corporate jet variants of all of its modern aircraft family, from the A318 Elite all the way up to the double-deck A380, offering customers the space that they want in the size that they need.
Airbus has won more than 160 corporate jet sales worldwide, and its aircraft are flying on every continent, including Antarctica, highlighting their versatility.
Airbus is an EADS company.
